Rustic Lumber Store is locate In Louisville, Nebraska half way between Omaha and Lincoln. Only 25 minutes from downtown Omaha - Council Bluff and 45 minutes from Lincoln. We specialize in the highest quality and biggest variety of rustic wood products. We have in inventory tens of thousands of board foot of wood products. Products include live edge wood slabs and boards, multiple styles of wood siding, hand peeled log timbers, custom sized square timbers, rustic furniture and more! We also offer services vacuum kiln drying, slab surfacing, custom build projects and sawmilling.

Started with a mission

Our retail store Rustic Lumber Store started in 2019 with a mission to change the way wood slab shopping would be. We vowed to change the stigma of slab shopping. Gone were the days not being able to see available inventory online and purchase, or walking into crowed sheds with piles of difficult to access slabs, or not knowing if your wood is properly kiln dried (or if kiln dried at all?) Is it smooth and flat ready to use? We changed all that.

We have the cleanest easiest shopping experience with the largest inventory of exotic and domestic woods. All of our products are inventoried and pictures with prices are listed online for each product.

The diverse inventory

We changed the way for opportunity to locally and nationally buy some of the most premier wood around the world and locally domestic wood.

We've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to grow our inventory with a huge selection of hand selected exotic woods.

We're constantly searching and milling the best urban salvaged logs local to the Omaha and Lincoln metro. Carefully kiln drying and surfacing each slab flat with all the hard work done.

We've expanded into products to help you build with our wood slabs. We offer Rustic Lumber Epoxy products, furniture oils from top brands, ca glues, hardware and more!

Truth behold since we've started this mission to offer the best products and services we've kept very little profit. We're consistently re-investing into our business to excel in the best equipment and services to offer. We believe there is no other local wood retailer invested into their equipment, services, and inventory as we are at Rustic Lumber Store.

Skills carried over from our roots in log home building

Our skills in fine carpentry go back to 2005 when we started building handcrafted log homes. Much skilled knowledge is needed to build and finish a log homes. Knowledge not your average carpenter would know. We've always built specialty cabinets or countertops in homes we built so it was only natural to build our own furniture.

We've owned a sawmill for log home building since 2012. We've occasionally would mill slabs but mostly was use for log and timber framing milling.
