I found just what I was looking for the mantelpiece. It has just the right character for my family room fireplace

I visited the new store during the open house and bought my first epoxy for a project. Lots of beautiful wood slabs ready for amazing projects.

I purchased this after watching the Wood Whisperer’s hardwax oil shootout. At nearly a quarter the price of Rubio it’s a great value. The only noticeable difference for me is the Rustic oil dries with a rougher surface than Rubio and has to be revisited with some high grit sandpaper, but that’s a minor issue for me.

I ordered the super white for a White Oak table. It was a little too white for the look we were after. I ordered the regular oil and added small amounts of white and tested. And tested. The end result was PERFECTION. The sheen, color and feel of the wood was exactly what we wanted. Did two coats and the finish seems rock solid.

The experience was first class from the first day of selecting the piece of lumber to help with design and finally delivery of the final product. We couldn’t be more happy!

They were very helpful and friendly. They took the time to cut it down for me to haul in my pickup. I made a table and benches out of the walnut I bought from them.

After being burned by another online source, I was hesitant to order from Rustic Lumber since I had never ordered from them before. After speeking with them on the phone, I went ahead and placed the order. The burl came in looking better than expected. Kudos to the Rustic Lumber team for a quick turnaround and escellent product.

Great sheen, seems to be a durable finish and can't beat the price for what the product is.

This Rustic Lumber hard wax oil is working very well for me. Currently building out some furniture for a built-in walk-in closet. Using on top of water based stain. I'm staining, waiting a couple hours, light sand, clean, and applying Ristic Lumber as directed on container. Excellent finish.

Highly recommend this product. The quality and durability is amazing. We have experienced many finishes on the market and this is so far becoming one of our top favorites. It will make anything you finish look professionally done. We hope to begin offering this to our customers at our retail store in Arlington Texas!

This wood oil plus hardener is fantastic! It’s a 5:1 ratio so you get more from your cans than you expect. You might also worry about the finish lasting but I applied the mahogany oil to a table without testing on a scrap first and the color wasn’t quite what the client was looking for (again, my fault) and had to sand it off. It was not an easy task. The finish created a hardened film on the table and it took a lot of sand paper to remove. I can see this finish lasting a LONG time based on how much work it took to remove my mistake. I went with the pure and it came out beautifully. The client was very happy and kept running her hands over the table and remarking about the natural feel.

Have not used the oil yet but thought you’d want to know that both cans arrived dented.

Great Finish and it won’t break your bank. When I saw this at that price I had to give it a try (why not) then oh boy what a great finish and super affordable compare to Rubio. Now this will help me make more money. Also, delivery was super fast too. I really recommend it

You can’t beat getting a great clear hard wax oil finish that comes in a LITER for roughly 50$… that’s missing an entire numeric digit you’d need, to purchase a comparable amount from one of the other guys. Easy to mix, easy to apply and looks amazing.
