Finishing Process

All major epoxy is already completed in black or clear. Then wood slabs are surface planed perfectly flat and drum sanded to 100 grit.

Slab will then be cut down to desired size. Any additional imperfections are repaired and filled with epoxy and starbond glue. Both sides and edges are hand sanded to 320 grit.

Rustic Lumber Furniture oil is then applied with two coats. After curing Rustic Lumber Ceramic Coating is then applied to add extra protection. Spray urethane option is available.

Wood or steel bases are installed using quality threaded inserts to make removing bases easy.

Our on-line store is open 24/7 and we ship Monday through Friday, excluding some holidays. We ship most of our slabs via LTL carrier. Smaller slabs will be shipped via UPS.

LTL and UPS rates are pre-determined pricing based on the size and weight of the slab. If shipping cost come in substantially higher we will contact you about the price difference in shipping.
