The clear oil works very well and is durable. It's one coat finish is a bit less shiny than the Rubio product but on a very good note is it dries much faster. Also it doesn't have that ridiculous fruity smell. A second coat bring the shine to the same level as two coats from the other product.

I've used the clear finish on 3 different projects. I followed the instructions to a T and always was disappointed with the outcome. Regardless of how smooth the surface was prior to applying finish, how clean I got it, or how well I applied it I always ended up with a rough final product.
On the last project I thought I was going to need more and purchased an additional can. I had enough and contacted support to return my order which was still in the package. I made it clear I was okay paying the 15% restock fee; however I was never sent a return label.
Based on the performance of the finish and the customer service I will always spring for the other, more superior brands and will never purchase any other products from here.
That sucks you struggled with the finish. Based on over 30 5 star reviews that rave how easy it is to use, I'm guessing you just didn't use it right. Did you ever reach out to us for help or watch our hour long how to YouTube video? As for the returning of the product. We never accepted a return on our oils before, you would have been the first we've accepted taking back left over product. My office assistant is a one man show doing online fulfillmentIntent in a small family own business, so we over looked to get that email return label sent back to you in a timely matter. A quick phone call or email to remind us about it is all it would have taken and we'd been sure to get that label emailed back to you. Maybe you can use that left over can you have to practice some more on using the oil. But I understand in this day and age, instead of reaching out for technical advice on use of a product and messing up multiple times or simply calling to follow up on a return label on a product that is 2/3rds of the cost of Rubio, it's easier to write a mile long 1 star review.
